Madame Tussauds Tokyo

August 8, 2013. I had a day full of joy and laughter with a really nice friend of mine, thanks to Madame Tussauds. Madame Tussauds Tokyo is located in Decks Tokyo Beach of Odaiba. The onsite ticket is 1,900 yen for adult, the online ticket is 450 yen cheaper. Upon entering, you will be taken to the upper floor by an elevator with Bruce Willis in tux as your escort. The first star I met after getting out of the elevator is Johnny Depp. An attendant will offer to take your picture with Mr. Depp using a pre-prepared camera and you can get the printed picture later for 1,000 yen (Don’t fall for this trap. The picture quality is not necessarily better than your smartphone camera). I posed with most of the wax collections but only some decent poses will make it to this post.

First, let’s meet the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

  1. Thank you for stopping by Imjapan, I love that one too 🙂 In fact, I had similar fun pose with Michael Jackson, George Clooney, Bruce Willis, to mention a few more. This place also has wide selection of Japanese celebs like members of AKB48, Ishikawa the pro golfer, Ryoma, etc. I hope they’ll put Kimura Takuya next time, though.
