Aquaworld Oarai

bigray December 8th, 2012.

The world is so small. Four people from the same town in Indonesia were reunited by fate in Japan. We spent a night together, met three other new friends, had Indonesian dinner, sang Indonesian songs, and laughed out of Indonesian jokes.

Morning came and we decided to go to Aquaworld, Oarai, Ibaraki, about 2 hours drive from our friend’s place. This aquarium boasts their collection of sharks and manta rays. The admission fee was quite expensive, 1800 yen for adult, which was worthwhile.

The variety of creatures on display will quench your curiosity of marine and freshwater lives. Walking through the dark tunnel of the ocean section will bring you to a blue world where time is forgotten. Exalted is the God for his creation!

This smiling-like fish will amaze you.

Shark-watching has never been this amusing.

A great place to enjoy with a significant other 🙂
